What a great and heartwarming show! As a punk rocker myself, I could absolutely relate to the power of music as an escape -- from a small town, from a difficult family, from feeling lonely....

Powerful. Just the overwhelming feeling that someone was voicing my emotions, but in a more eloquently raw, and witty way. There was a feeling of vindication - "she actually said that" - "someone had to say it" - as well as a call to action! ...

Amazing show! A former punk rocker’s delight. If you’re fascinated by other cultures and you’re not in the deaf community, this is the show for you. If you’re deaf or hard of hearing, or you’re already part of the deaf community, you will love and relate to the show. There’s nobody like Justin!...

I loved this show! Hilarious and touching! Glennis McCarthy can act and she can sing! Based on the ample applause and laughter throughout the musical from the audience, I wasn't the only one mesmerized by her performance! At the end of the show she received a well-deserved standing ovation from the packed house! Don't miss this performance!...

I attended the preview night performance of "My Trans Wife"! It is a compelling auto-biographical "story form" presentation of the life and relationship of a married couple, Mimi and Mara, who are married in real life. You get the picture from the title...two women, one is trans and the other is not. You think you've got it rough with your spotty cell phone service, computer problems, and bad LA traffic!? Try being in the shoes of these two women! We all should be listening to and learning...

This show encapsulates all the best parts of Stan Lee’s storytelling vision. Lee once said: “Just because you have superpowers, that doesn’t mean your love life would be perfect. I don’t think superpowers automatically means there won’t be any personality problems, family problems or even money problems. I just tried to write characters who are human beings who also have superpowers.”
While there’s isn’t time spent on familial or fiscal aspects of these characters’ lives, the fantastically dynam...

The Masher gives us a glance into a Black Mirror-esque dystopia which we see from the side of a mundane factory job and a small clutch of well-developed characters who bounce off each other beautifully. Funny, horrifying, and heartbreaking in turns. I've already reserved a ticket to see it again and I can't wait!...

'Crack Whore' begins lightheartedly enough, evoking vaudeville and burlesque. But soon clouds gather and it becomes a cri de coeur, crying justice in a voice first raised in 'The Trojan Women,' assaulting our comfort with a fierceness that would make Artaud or Brecht proud. This is theatre as the ancients of every race intended it -- strong soul medicine. I don't know a woman (or an LGBTQIA+ person) whom I would not warn about the show's many triggers. And I don't know a man I would let off the h...
