Snow stood out to me as Smart & Funny with a well designed payoff derived from unique pacing. Everything I love about what Fringe Fest stands for Dear Diary also took a simple concept and did a great job of evolving it over and over to keep things fresh and intriguing. ... full review

The show was extremely well done, thoughtful, funny, sad, and ultimately, inspirational. Jeannette Rizzi has crafted a sensitive story from her life and made it relatable to an audience. Jeannette use of voices and accents make it easy to visualize the story. She as a wonderful presence that makes her story consistently compelling.... full review

A fantastical and beautiful story that takes us on a journey through time and space, all aboard VanessAir. We get to fly back to Vanessa's past as we learn about her constant moving around the world; the constant uprooting and the effects that had on her. Vanessa is an amazing writer and beautiful storyteller. Her vulnerability is absolutely beautiful and powerful. ... full review

One of, if not, my favorite Fringe production thus far. Michael has a true and heart-wrenching story and does it with such finesse, he will have you laughing one minute and crying the next. This show is so intimate, personal, and lovely and it was refreshing to see someone spill their guts while performing instead of performing to "put on a show"...this is how art, in all forms, should be. He was a master at ending the stories at the right time and the transitions added so very much to the enti... full review

FERTILE.

A topic that is often not discussed, especially by women, is put on the table in this lovely show! Heather did a great job of discussing all of the sides of infertility from the viewpoints of not only the woman herself, but her partner. She also dives straight in to the women who not only make you feel guilty for not having children, but to the women who guilt you FOR having children. She showed the fight that women have to deal with not only with the opposite sex, but within their own gender whi... full review

What a beautiful and truthful display of art on a topic that is not-so-very-easy to talk about. It's such an important piece from the side of a victim of emotional and physical abuse. Lara transitions from character to character with ease, all under the guise of a fairy tale book reading. It was such a unique way to not only entertain, but to educate and I'm so very proud to know this wonderful woman and for her to have shared her journey. Thank you, Lara! ... full review

With mass information coming at us through our devices and from all sides—presidents shouting "Fake news!," Tsunami triggered nuclear meltdowns, magic bullet theories, and a daily deluge of other potential (and actual) conspiracies (“My Internet's down! I'm blocked out my emails! Am I hacked? Is it the Russians?” ) it's no wonder that were don't already believe that up is down, right is left, or right is wrong. ... full review

"Cirque du Giselle" is a splendid, unique Fringe performance by Aeriform Arts' instructors and students that incorporates the tragic classic ballet “Giselle” with aerial, acrobatics, and cirque art. Funny and sharply written solo show “No Child Left Behind,” written and performed by Makha Mthembu, focuses on a South African girls' school teacher whose students are being taught during Apartheid in South Africa during the time of Nelson Mandela's recent release, new times of desegregation, and just prior to voting on the referendum in 1992. The class opens with their national anthem, as any class in any country might do, which sets the tone for a complacent, but enthusiastic, political reveren... full review

I am woefully late in writing this review... "The Journey of the Little Prince" was a perfect show for this Fringe... or any Fringe! I'd forgotten most of the original story and this production did a wonderful job of hitting me from a completely different angle than the story did when I was a kid... because that's what it's about: being a kid. Or rather, STAYING a kid and not letting becoming an adult stunt your growth. Sweet performances, a very unique design element, and a wonderful mess... full review
