How I Became A Superhero

Fun from start to finish. It's a goofy show with a lot of laughs, but it's got real heart that drives the story and characters. Even when it gets ridiculous, it's really not that far off from reality. Every member of the cast is hilarious, and brings every character to life. Absolutely worth seeing. ... full review

Went and saw "Wigfield" at the Fringe Festival previews last night and I am so glad I did! The show made me laugh out loud. I must give props to a wonderful ensemble cast who bring to life some strangely loveable characters. I do not want to give away the story but I will say, if you love a parade you will love this show.... full review

The Ruffian on the Stair

Fans of Joe Orton's wild half-century-old social satires, like me, won't want to miss this, his rarely-performed first sale, a BBC radio play later revised for the stage. NOT a 90-minute show, though, as advertised, but 5 "acts" in just 52 minutes---4 of them run less than 8 minutes each. It's the Orton-to-be, not the roughly-polished soon-to-be playwright. Reed Michael Campbell seems to be obtrusive casting in the abbreviated title role, a Hollywood surfer wedged in between two Actor's Studi... full review

What a terrific show! It was filled with so much enthusiasm, fun, & laughter. The story line flowed well, the songs were uplifting, & the bits of improv thrown in added extra touches of humor. Everyone in our group really enjoyed the show & the various characters. They were so lovable, even the dastardly bad guys! There were so many hilarious moments that we had tears coming from our eyes from laughing so much! It was extremely entertaining! A definite must see show at The Fringe Festival!!... full review

At once funny, poignant, and moving, this 65 minute well acted and directed play gives us an insight about love, relationships and online dating in the 21st century. The play is full of heart and hope (not to mention hilarious moments, the audience roared often,) and the four person cast perform their roles with passion, conviction and love for one another. The fluid direction of this well written piece, highlights what it means to make true connections in this world of online dating that can oft... full review

Sex With Strangers

scott langer · June 10, 2019 certified reviewer
A romantic comedy with dirt underneath its fingernails- in that, like life, love has complications that go deeper than simple misunderstandings we see in most rom-coms but rather deception, mutual opportunism, trust, and believing that someone is who they currently say they are and not what their past would dictate. Ferree and Center have off the chart chemistry, actors so in-synch and on top of their game that they command your attention. ... full review

This show was a perfect mixture of sketch comedy, characters, group pieces, and absolute silliness. It made my heart so happy and Emily did such a beautiful job curating a piece that showcased everyone's individual talent and ability. On top of that, it is fucking hilarious and heartwarming. I will be seeing it again, and that's not a joke. You guys, I'm not kidding, I'm coming again.... full review
