Twirly's Traveling Tricks is a theatrical force that needs to be experienced by anyone who loves to see raw talent and bold new work onstage. This show encapsulates everything that is great about Fringe theatre- it's funny, it's fresh, it's groundbreaking, it's unique and immersive, it's short and sweet but filled to the brim with wonder and surprise. Twirly is the kind of classic comedienne who can read her audience's reactions and delve into the depths of her collaborative creation. I was chose...

Two one-woman shows for the price of one!
"Simulakra" by Alyssa Virker (hope I spelled that right). Alyssa's show is a perfect mash-up of visual and physical storytelling. Quirky, funny, and charming, with a great message in the end. I really love this kind of approach to performance.
"My Dead Mom's Funeral" by Angela Beevers. Angela's show was comedy gold. There are a thousand shows about loved ones and cancer. Many try to pull it off as heartfelt comedy. This show pulls it off in spades! ...

Such an intimate, tender, truthfully told story of love, lost love and second loves. The writing by Matt Morillo is exceptional and the performances from these two actors were sublime and as honest as you could ever ask for - in such powerfully intimate moments! Kudos to everyone involved with this project. Amazing....

I F***ING loved this show! I was lucky enough to attend the preview night. Not knowing too much about the show besides it being about Dungons & Dragons. It's way more than that. The major story line of Agnes (Vivi Thai) connecting with her dead sister Tilly (Susannah Snowden-Ifft). The whole cast were fantastic and the show has a lot of humor as well as some moments that I teared up in. I'll for sure attend performance of this asap. ...

Amanda is a storyteller, actress, singer, and amazing entertainer. I found myself laughing out loud, crying or feeling as if I was living her story.
‘Mandy Picks a Husband’ is a powerful and vulnerable story and couldn’t be more relevant to the awakening that is happening today around how we protect our girls and what it means to be worthy as an adult woman.
This is a story that needs to be heard....

A fun, surreal, mobile show involving a walk around Hollywood with the help of an increasingly creepy audio guide. Your "internal voice" leads you from one encounter to the next, where you slowly learn the anxiety attack that kicks off the experience is only the beginning: something sinister is happening around you... and inside you....

A high concept, clever spin on amateur one-person shows. While the proverbial mirror to the Hollywood Fringe audience certainly hangs and reflects truth, it doesn't rely on that device or a working knowledge/participation in the industry to laugh at the material....

The 2nd Annual Trump Family Special was an extremely clever and pointed parody of a 'family special' featuring our negligible first family. I saw the preview and it was a bit on the rough side, but when it is up and truly running, I anticipate that this will be a 'best of Fringe' contender! Absolutely see this one. ...

This was a very sweet story with a happy ending for the main characters. The integration of technology to the story was well done, the actors all did a wonderful job. It's a great show to put in between some of the terribly serious and/or "downer" shows that can be at Fringe. ...

Go and see this fringe gem. "Where The Roses Bloom" unfolds the subtle yet all-consuming shifts our hearts make as we step out of childhood (who we've been; what we "should" be) and into our true life experience. Sivan Aviv delights us again and again as our protagonist, Lizette, with her beautifully subtextual performance. Jordan Barksdale's confident aura shines throughout this piece and her heartbreak is palpable as Faith. Becky Mantei and Anthony Tringali add so much to the stage with their h...

Let's try and make this constructive. Of the shows Ive seen this year, this show failed to work in any fashion. It should have been an easy win--take Rosencrantz and Guildenstern and spin it Potterstyle. But it doesn't work in play because of a big bunch of reasons. The playwright doesn't seem to get the purpose or themes of the original play they're making parody of here. There are a bunch of actors who really don't seem to be able to act (cause of talent or experience, I dunno). And there were ...
