Pho Girl is both a comedic and poignant tale that follows a young woman on her journey of self-discovery through her love of cooking. Chambers' script combines witty one-liners with emotional moments to remind us that we are the ones who define ourselves, not others. Trinh brings a warm, comforting energy to the role. All in all, Pho Girl is a gem that should not be missed....

It is rare to see performances that both entertain and enlighten—which is why you won’t want to miss seeing “No Joke.” The play is a deeply thought provoking and compelling exploration of the gray areas of legal and illegal American immigration stories and conflicts. An American Instagram influencer’s (performed by Omilon) obnoxious entitlement and naiveté carries the energy of the show and allows the audience to engage more fully with the story because our ignorance is no match for hers. She spe...

A hilarious and thought-provoking romp, gorgeously staged and deliciously acted. Fans of magical realism will be especially satisfied as well as mystified. Nothing is explained or accomplished in almost Brechtian fashion, which is as refreshing as drinking hot water with a slice of lemon after a heavy meal. After the laughter is done, you are left with so many questions......

What a great show! Good script, great acting, lots of action, humor, drama, some plot twists all done in a superhero universe. There is even some slow motion superhero moves. I would recommend you go see it but the rest of the shows are already sold out (that should give you a clue)....

The production was enjoyable though the comedy was hit and miss for me, I thoroughly found myself engrossed in the charm of each individual actor, so much so, I later realized there was close to no set dressing. I wasn’t familiar with this play by The Father of Comedy, Aristophanes, written a couple years ago in 414 BC.
The adaptation was a reflection of our current state in the political arena, but sadly, it seems these patterns were no different from when the play was first written. The perfor...

Wowsers! The best offering yet from Robot Teammate, who are growing into their big boy pants at an astonishing rate. From the large cast to the costumes and choreography, they continue to raise the bar on their distinctive comedic oeuvre - and I couldn't be more pleased. The show is hilarious and heartwarming, with tons of punny in-jokes for those who like a good wink. And the performances of the Robot team are tremendous as usual, consistently stealing their scenes. The songs and dance numbers a...
