I really enjoyed Michael David Kers performance in “Birthday” last night. I found everything about it honest, unique and inspirational. (Sadly a rare experience these days.) Spent three hours driving today to see a one hour play and I don’t regret one second spent on the freeway. This play was fantastic… Smartly written and incredibly well acted by four young up-and-coming actors. This was a tough play, lots of dialogue that could’ve been tripped up if all four weren’t on their game. My only regret is there’s just three more nights not enough time to get all my friends in to LA to see it. This was a delightful experience, from pre-show to the final moment.
