This show opened my eyes to the struggles and conflicts that queer Muslims face. It is an autobiographical journey that touched every emotion of my body. There were moments when I laughed and other moments where tears welled up in my eyes. Ramy's performance was authentic and raw, thought-provoking and inspiring. This show was quick and to the point. It isn't very long, but within seconds you are shown the human condition in a myriad of comical, relatable, and sad truths. SAVING CAIN is a well written production with a quite unusual ending. I am a secular humanist and I almost walked away after 15 minutes watching the show because I can't stand religious zealots but I'm glad I stayed. I really enjoyed this show! It was a great way to relax and have a lot of laughs. Lindsey is so talented and funny, she really has a gift for voices and characters. Some of her comedy was very subtle and some of it was big, so she has a lot of range! Each different character was believable and she was totally committed to them.
