A Tribute To Doug is a serious dose of carefree nostalgia bound to send you back to cereal fueled mornings watching cartoons. From the first note of the theme song, played expertly by a live musician, to the final journal narration given by Katie Hendrix’s joyfully portrayed Doug, this show is a must see for anyone wanting to shake up their Fringe experience with a merry romp down memory lane. ...

The Same Room is a visceral examination of an all too common human experience: our capacity to wage war with ourselves. It’s a poetic, thrilling, and excruciatingly honest piece of theatre, and well worth the journey.

This is a time capsule in the best possible sense - for the importance of Nirvana in all our lives in the early 90s, and also in that post-high school pre-responsibility haze in which slackerism is both an inescapable inevitability and a great source of truth about the transition that is about to take place. By the end of the play it shows you that it had much more going on than you realized when you first sat down. Solid acting by all involved!...

Silent Joy is a thought provoking and emotional show. The creative set design kept focus on the engaging story, which was suspenseful until the end. Led by their co-lead actors (Maggie Dorfman and John Logie), the ensemble was truthful and grounded, a feat for such an abstract show. They most definitely raised the bar on what to expect from the Fringe Festival. This is a must see!...

Marianne’s show is grace and truth in motion. You can’t take your eyes off her because she’s just that honest and pure on the stage. The show is moving and raw as expected AND there there are beautiful moments of laughter, hope, and sweet joy that come forward as each character speaks her truth and expresses her innermost life. I cried with the characters, giggled with some of them, cheered, and most of all I felt such reverence for the human journey. This is why I go to the theater- to feel it a...

Tattered Capes is one of the finest shows Greg Crafts has ever written. I've seen a lot of his work, but for sheer personal force, character development and definition, and dialogue, this show is a huge accomplishment. Add in the unbelievable choreography and some of the best stage combat I've seen at literally any level of theatre, and what Greg, Soda Persi, Corey Lynn Howe, and their cast have accomplished is stunning....

Imagine a fascinating nightmare--one of those fundamentally disturbing ones that blends all kinds of things in a weird brew of elements that somehow make kind of bizarre logic. Now suppose a nightmare more-or-less fostered by the challenge comedian Bill Mahr put out for Donald Trump to prove he was not the son of an orangutan.
Now imagine someone staging that nightmare. You now have Orangutan by Troy Deutsch. The whole thing takes the form of a monologue by Trump's mother (Kristina Mueller)...
