A great example of how immersive theatre can generate a small, intimate story through characterization and narrative....

This play is full of plot turns, witty dialogue and character. How Ashley brings so many characters so vividly into the story is truly a gift. Great story telling that is entertaining for all ages. I highly recommend this play. ...

Loved it and I’m not a fan of ‘horror’ - I’m sort of afraid of my own shadow! Show was so funny and had just enough ‘creepy’ to keep me on my toes! I didn’t expect to laugh so much! ...

This wild but simultaneously grounded show gives us a unique and sharp look at the origin of a demagogue and what leaders say about ourselves and those around him/her. Beautifully and masterfully portrayed by Kristina Mueller this show will have you hooked from A to B as it takes you to it's thrilling and shocking conclusion. Well directed by Tinks Lovelace and written with poetically sharp wit by Troy Deutsch ...

A lovely dark little tale about a serial killer and, yes, a pit of goblins. Multiple characters, some satire, one actor and a whole lot of dead bodies. Exactly the sort of theatrical journey one expects from a Fringe show....

A dark but sometimes funny entry into the world of theatre and horror. Pit of Goblins is a hard play to describe the mood of but that is what makes it worth seeing for yourself, wonderfully twisted, boldly confident in it's storytelling and deliciously macabre; it's a true piece of art....

Ed Goodman's Ol' Timey Brainwash

Go see it. And here’s why: Ed Goodman has created the single LEAST pretentious one person show I have ever seen. His number one priority is to make sure his show is funny (also insightful, clever and fearless of course but none of that matters to Ed if it doesn’t end in laughter.) “Brainwashing” is also part of Ed’s personal campaign to raise his audiences awareness about the absurdity of the social/political world which they are entrenched – the man, like Mark Twain, he holds no punches and jus...

In these times of high anxiety and sterile electronic communication, "Let's Write a Musical"is like oxygen to the humanity in us. The cast is all pro, and they're working with great songs, and really, it felt like a chunk of Broadway landed right here at McKadden!! Some bright new lights in this cast and their connection to the audience made for lots of tears but even more laughter. I think this is one of those plays that will be recounted again and again as a first of many successes for thi...

Beyond doubt the cast of this play are all energetic, talented and possess genuine charm. Director Susan Dalian shows skill at using a tiny space while maintaining the energy needed.
However, this script's very real potential needs work. This is an early draft of what might well be an excellent comedy. Right now, it wanders around the situation as well as the characters without diving very deeply into either. Worse, it doesn't seem like a play at all, but more like a sitcom. The same char...
