Funny but a bit uneven at times. But there were lots of moments that inspired laughter, especially when the Super Hero appeared on his pink tutu for the first time. Be sure to stay for the scenes following the credits.... full review

THE BULLY PROBLEM

As a former Junior High teacher, I can certainly understand the difficulties faced by teenagers who just don’t fit the mold of being “popular.” THE BULLY PROBLEM takes the subject and makes it thoroughly entertaining as well as informative thanks to Shapiro’s entertaining music tracks, the brilliant work by Fringe award-winning director/choreographer Joanna Syiek (The Pokemusical, Giraffenstein, Merely Players), and music director Jennifer Lin, who have put together an extraordinary cast of acto... full review

FERTILE.

A simple stage with a bed, a table, and a podium. That's all Heather Dowling has at her disposal besides her skills as a performer and a storyteller for her hour-long one-person show, Fertile. She embodies more than a dozen characters throughout the performance and transitions between them with great ease and control, keeping each voice distinct and relatable. From the eager and overwhelmed heroine Jenny to her wise and soft-spoken neighbor Gloria, the over-the-top and borderline delirious acupun... full review

If you like interactive murder mystery-esk performances, this is for you. The experience was the most fun I had in a while — the cast are fully committed to their characters and it is more than easy to start to make a connections with the Gods. It felt natural to start to pick sides and almost take on some of the character’s motivations. Overall, a fantastic, fun presentation, that never left me with a moment of pause or boredom. ... full review

Overall it was a lot better than I expected. This has a religious theme to it. In some ways it criticizes religion and in other ways it doesn't. And it really covers a variety of topics. Liberal vs. Conservative. Straight and gay. Addiction too. Plenty of things to go around. It really has some twists and turns that just keeps you going, "Wait? WTF?" I really liked this show and would recommend it to someone who wants to see something different. Some pretty intense topics with some humor thrown... full review
