“Let’s Write a Musical“ economically tells an original story f...

More a story told in a Blockbuster than a story about Blockbuster, but the play is better for it. A really engrossing tale about growing up with a cast of well-written, well-acted characters. This is a play I really wanted to see because of how much Blockbuster meant to me growing up and I feel like it delivered....

Meg, Jo, Beth, Amy & Louisa is a feast for anyone who loves Louisa May Alcott.--but it's not just for Alcott fans. I think there are many things to love in this show for anyone who attends. I am still thinking about this fascinating and original show and wondering at the beautifully seamless combination of storytelling about one of my favorite author's lives with a contemporary and comedic twist. It's a wonderful evening of theatre for anyone who wants to see originality, comedy, story, and a gro...

From previous reviews and being familiar with Sam's work, I expected it to be weird, but even I was surprised by some of the antics he had built into this show. Sam presents How to Be a Rock Star as a retrospective of his evolution as an artist, sharing the mundane details behind the composition of seemingly profound songs. ...
