No Joke

The show was great! It raised a lot of important questions relevant in today's political climate. It's awesome to see how deep a play can get with just two scenes and three characters. These young actors have huge talent. Very thought provoking!... full review

Overall, I thought the cast and crew did an amazing job and set the satirical tone of the show from the beginning. I look forward to seeing more shows like this in near the future!... full review

Aristophanes' The Birds

Aristophanes would have delighted in watching this modern-day cast of about a dozen or so in this not-exactly-word-for-word adaptation lambast their own current social and political environment and take their own path in finding the humor in the play. For me, the Bird Chorus ensemble steals the show, and fiercely establishes the surreality of the entire situation. ... full review

Hell's Finest

anonymous · June 15, 2019 certified reviewer
It's hard to dislike anything at Fringe, but this one hit all the wrong buttons. For starters, it's tagged as "immersive", and this is sheer false advertising. The lead actor seemed to be struggling to remember his lines and didn't convey any sense of cult leader charisma, while the rest of cast's monologues were over written and lacked any cohesive tone. ... full review
