A great piece of interesting amd engaging science fiction that never sacrificed its emotional heart for the science. Even when the real science got a little over my head I never felt alienated or disconnected. I laughed with and felt deeply for all of the characters, whom Doug Harvey plays with strong technically skill; his body, voice, and presence completely changing with each new person....

As soon as you walk in you feel a contagious energy living in this theatre. One is immediately aware they are bearing witness to a special performance where actors and non-actors share the stage to honor the Promotoras who’ve fought for their community, the safety of their bodies, better work conditions and built a union connecting janitors across the state of California. This play is powerful. The play is full of urgency as it gives insight into the battles and wins endured by immigrant janitors...

This amazing show left me thinking 2 things “what do I long for in life” and “how do I respond to the longings that can’t be met”. These 2 extraordinary actors allow you to see into the life of people whose longing dwells in the deepest parts of them. The “pit” if you will. And how it affects their lives. If you get a chance please go see this show! You won’t regret it....

Masher was an enjoyable, jam packed hour of suspense and curiosity. An unlikely combination of characters share responsibility for a seemingly benign task. But there are clues and hints that something is terribly wrong with the result of their very simple job. What is this "company" they are working for. You'll see in the end....

This show is so much fun! You're drawn in immediately by the characters, and you want to know more about who they are; and you get to throughout the course of a wild night! The performances are wonderful and walk the line of 'playing drunk' without overdoing it. The story is all too realistic and ridiculous, and I loved that it had serious moments tucked in to the hilarity. ...

A fast-paced, hilarious hour of big, over-the-top comedy that satirizes the completely insane idea that "well-trained teachers" holding handguns is a reasonable way to deal with school shootings in America. Excellent cast with great timing, and great use of theatrics to soften what could otherwise have become a somewhat disturbing theme....

This show is poignant, hilarious, terrifying, and sweet. The acting is very good, and Blake McCormack especially is wonderfully versatile in his different roles. The Masher reflects on our misogynistic society and the vastly different lens that women observe it through. Deeply emotional in the midst of a mysterious plot, The Masher keeps you intrigued and concerned for the characters throughout. ...

We love the film noir, so this play sounded like a perfect fit. It is a well written show. Unfortunately, it suffered from one flaw that is easily correctable – pacing, or more specifically, the lack thereof. This show is still worthy of your attention, if corrective action is taken....

I was afraid a "one person show" would be another self absorbed thing I have sat through that actors put on. For the first few minutes it was about her family and not Scientology and I was concerned. but that ended up just setting the scene and 95% of the show was about Scientology. Her hyperactive delivery and playing of various roles was quite impressive. ...

She has directed a very interesting story of survival from a cult that led to freedom for Nicole Steinwedell. The show felt like Steinwedell was the poster child for ADHD, as she told her story in short bursts of non-stop energy. She definitely kept her sold-out house intrigued and engaged, and for that alone she should be praised. ...

If you’ve spent much time at the Fringe, then you’ve probably seen Jim Hanna in at least one show. If you haven’t, then this is the show to see. Not only is he part of the amazing cast, but he also wrote this masterpiece that mixes politics with the supernatural. The magical cast of Hanna, Emily Dorsett, Kate Hellen and Lucie Beeby will whisk you away and provide a thought-provoking look at small town politics. ...
