Charming, funny, and made use of the space with fun special effects, costumes, and action. Really felt like I was watching a comic book unfolding on stage.... full review

SON OF A BITCH

I loved it. Start to finish, I was leaned forward in my chair. The writing really sang and I think Billy Ray's direction made great use of the theatre in the round and let the actors all really shine. Favorite show I've seen so far.... full review

Saving Cain

This show contains multitudes. It is at once a reflection of our socio-political history, a spiritual quest, an expression of personal pain, and an example of quietly epic, confident storytelling. The direction is precise, bold, and respectful of the actors' considerable talents. Most of all, though, the show is entertaining. It moves with an assured pace, and leaves you thinking about the experience afterwards.... full review

Don't let the fun, sass, and hot pink hotness fool you. This play is packed with thought-provoking depth, sharp-as-razors wit, and cautionary social commentary. Frankie MacLaughlin maintains a bold hold on her powerhouse trifecta of writer, director, and producer of this highly relevant and hilarious production.... full review

This Way Yonder

Beautiful and heartbreaking - despite some slight performance issues that can be tweaked (some projection issues, and one of the characters in my mind was played over the top), gifted playwright Montana Cypress paints with a vivid indelible brush. The characters are compelling, memorable and linger with you long after the show is over. One of the best of the Fringe for sure. I could see this playing Off-Broadway.... full review

Sins

samantha macdouglas · June 15, 2019 certified reviewer
Sins is funny. Laugh out loud until your sides hurt funny. It's also a poignant examination of what it means to be a creative artist. The play takes a very serious look at the trials of working as an actor, a writer and a director. It's powerful and heartbreaking and somehow at the same time manages to be a rollercoaster ride of fun.... full review
