The dopeness was surpassed only by the dankness. These ladies and gents was flyin, stylin, and wildin. Aerials and tumblers and stilts and I don’t know all the terms because I am lacking in culture but I felt like I was watching a ballet for the first time. Also I liked the music. The choreography was on point too. Pizzazz....

Fight or Flight is a charming play about perseverance with lots and lots of heart. I was very impressed by this small cast of 4. From the retired too soon boxing phenom, his straight to the point manager, to the female boxing student who comes in to win our hearts, to the sports announcer/narrator who weaves this story together, everyone did an absolutely lovely job. I was intrigued and wanted to know more as the play continued, and that's what you want to see when you see theatre! It's also real...

Brilliant concept. The Dodgers should pay him to sit at a booth during games, and let fans play these games with him. Free baseball cards at the end were the icing on the cake....

Gonzo southern-gothic storytelling at a runaway train's pace. A little jumbled in some places, but, on the whole interesting tales delivered via a thoroughly captivating performance by Darkly. If you like storytelling or one-person shows, definitely check out this unique experience....

In Dandy Darkly’s All Aboard!, it’s better if you don’t know exactly what you’re getting into when hopping on board Dandy’s story train. He’s a master in the oral tradition of storytelling and creates vivid characters and situations which, in the flick of a phrase, instantly turn into something for more insidious. Each story he tells is better than the last and he weaves what appear to be disjointed tales into a seamless and exciting fabric. I was reminded of Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman more than o...

It started off with edgy, often shocking, yet appealing comic Andrea. Penny Wiggins characters came to life with right-on accents, all-in physical comedy, and clever writing. The bits were short--I wanted more. ...

Stunned! It was beautiful all around, in story, in emotion, in execution. An interesting time in history I knew very little about, but still with relatable issues of family grudges and pride. Everyone's performance was confident and passionate. A stand out ensemble....

I can't remember a show at Fringe I've had more fun attending. Full disclaimer, I'm a huuuuuge baseball fan so this show had me smiling at parts, audibly cheering, and yes, tearing up. But the beauty of this show is that you don't have to be a baseball fan to enjoy it (though by the end of it, Brett Moore just might make you one!). "Batter Up" is more about mesmerizing storytelling from the guy next door, the wonder of nostalgia, mixed with some of the most impressive parlor tricks you'll ever se...

Like watching a smart, live-action cartoon. (It really is suitable for the screen!) Fast paced, well written, well cast, well acted. Shades of existentialist "theater of the absurd," as well magical realism, but without the slightest hint of pretension....

Dark, wild, and gripping from hilarious start to surprisingly scary end, Pit of Goblins drops you in a small town with nothing wrong except for the serial killer and goblins commanding him. One of the best one person shows this year, Mitchell Bisschop commands the stage with every character in this smartly written and well produced act. ...

A cleverly crafted and hilarious dose of sketch comedy with a provocative background of social commentary that is extremely important to tackle in today's political climate. This is a play that will not disappoint its audience for even a second. You will be on the edge of your seat laughing and pondering the entire time.
