Nobody handles serious material better than Leah Verrill. She is quirky and funny one moment and can be emotionally raw with the flip of a switch. This is the kind of role that is built for her. The supporting cast is rich with talent and keep the play moving forward. David Chrzanowski brings the best out of his cast, knowing when to pull back the reins and when to let his actors fly. Aaron Kozak's script is ambitious, juggling together the two stories of his main characters. Saving Cain is a lov...

I've never wanted to live in a world with a religion to Beyoncé more than after seeing this show. A hilarious script with a great cast, this show asks what the true value of art is, and how civilization commodifies those who make it. ...

I thought that the show was incredibly delightful, and demonstrated the range of "stories" and "records" in what they mean to different people. Each play was paced really well so there was a lot to think about and appreciate, but they didn't overstay their welcome. It was so good!...

I loved that this show addressed some important and pressing issues with humor and sensitivity. It was LOL funny but made me think back to some bonehead moves of my own. I am a longtime fan of Chris Valenti, and he never disappoints. SMTTW was my first FRINGE experience, and I am looking forward to next year...

Surreal and inventive, Journey uses minimal lighting and beautiful projections to retell this classic French story. It's a unique sensory poem of voices, shapes and movement, not like anything else I've seen at Fringe.
It's a calming and lovely hour of theatre....

Tales From The Powder Room was such a moving piece, especially as a female viewer. I'm sure every woman can relate to one, if not more than one, character's experience in or out of the workplace. Every woman clearly has their own personal obstacles in life and feels the pressure to constantly "have it together," without wanting to show any sort of weakness under pressure, be it work pressure, rivalry, jealousy, or not being accepted. Sometimes the drama at work isn't actually about the work....

This was the first and only show I absolutely HAD to give a standing ovation for and it takes a LOT to get me to stand for an ovation!
There were a few things I would have changed if I'd directed this show, but Crystal is such a powerful and compelling performer that it more than made up for any of the things I would've changed. What a pity it's finished already, but if it gets a well-deserved encore, go and see it!...

This show is hilarious in its execution and frightening with possibilities for humanity's future. The entire cast of this show brings their A game, but the real stars of the show is Matthew Latkiewicz's inventive concept and hilarious script. The fictional world is perfectly crafted and revealed to the audience in tiny pieces, so when the audience figures out what's going on, little gasps of realization can be heard all over the house. The whole evening is fun and thought-provoking....

A fun romp of silly with the creative and musical sophistication to keep it from being frivolous. Like Gilbert and Sullivan where the craft of writing is the true star of the show, I found myself wanting to see the score and read the libretto to catch it all. Would love to hear this with live instruments. This was a fun world to hang around and the actors and stage direction executed the story beautifully!...
