A hilarious sendup of an all too common occurrence, the solo show as a showcase or validation. Matt Ritchey takes that and literally runs all over the theater with it, turning it into a silly, sweet existential cry for help. With the aid of the immensely able Jim Niedzialowski, they show the heart at the center of this crazy community. Just don't eat the Turkey. ...

I really enjoyed this show! It was hilarious and had me rolling from start to finish and it was truly unlike any show I've seen before. This unique and creative experience will have you on the edge of your seat not knowing what ridiculous thing you'll be surprised with next. The audience interaction was thrilling and fun--really took the show to the next level! Y'all need to see this show. Plain and simple. ...

Lovely, intimate production. The real deal, a rare thing, a real piece of theatre in LA. Emotionally resonant work from the actors, very well directed, excellent script exploring relationships in the modern world. Refreshing and interesting. Recommended!...

An honest slice of life.
Wonderfully written script by Montana, masterfully staged by Monica, and unabashedly performed by Marjorie, THIS WAY YONDER is one of my favorite pieces of theatre I've seen.
Spearheaded by the glorious Marjorie Knight, the ensemble cast delivers honest performances throughout this sometimes cute, sometimes piercing play about a mother and daughter trying to make it all.work....

Hilarious! Already loved Jennifer Lawrence, but to learn about her "spider issues" and her alter ego "Gail" took my love to a new level. Such a funny, crazy, goofy, unexpected and entertaining afternoon! Just the right amount of well-timed profanity and vulgarity to balance the absurd. ...

Lisa is absolutely perfect for this role. She’s clever, quick, and has this subtle cheekiness that fits right in to this piece. I loved the set design and how the bright reds contrasted with the black box. It was very modern-looking and not like it was put together in 15 minutes (the usual load-in time for fringe shows). I felt like I was actually in the room with them, like we were flies on the wall. I like that. ...

A touching and funny slice of life - a great cast with standouts Marjorie Knight as the caustic Ruth battling a war on several fronts at once, Justin Vlach who owns the stage as her brother, and Omar Salazar as hysterical and endearing Cody Tiger. Emotional performances well crafted by director Monica Martin. ...

My favorite ensemble shows are ones where the cast meshes easily and obviously gets along well with each other. Mayor’s Debate was exactly this. The actors were playful, imaginative, and had *fun* on the stage. Believe it or not, sometimes you can tell actors aren’t having fun. This wasn’t the case for Mayor’s Debate....

M.O.M.S. gives us a glimpse into the life of Moms Mabley through the eyes of a woman in the late 70s who has just been raped and is trying desperately to cope. The piece is a clever vehicle for this fascinating piece of history, but left me wanting to know much more about the comedian who paved the way for so many to follow. ...
