Have you ever pondered this philosophical question that is the title of this play? By the end of the play, you may or may not be satisfied by the inevitable answer. Along the road, you will be presented with words played by individual characters that try to find meaning to their existence and purpose. There are the multiple "The's" that compete for importance, Cross, the verb which without, there would be no question. There are all the other words that try to find a context in their relations...

Thoroughly enjoyed this creatively-told Superhero story! The story was original, the acting was excellent, the staging was imaginative, the mood was set by well-chosen music, and we loved the balance between drama and comedy. Highly recommend this show! ...

Phenomenal, deeply human, and above all, honest. The facets and foibles of grief and grieving with none of the self pity. I was often laughing and crying at the same time. Highly recommended. ...

If I’m singing these tunes on the way to my car afterwards, I’m thinking this is the kind of musical that I would have loved to walk out of the theater holding the SOUNDTRACK ON COMPACT DISC. CD’S! Remember those, people? I did that with Rent and I would do that with Pockets. ...

One of the most delightfully intellectual shows I've ever seen! It had break-neck pacing from start to finish and there was never a lapse in focus. Harvey is an acting force to be reckoned with, tackling a myriad of different characters in endless scenarios with ease and childlike freedom. ...

I can’t say whether I liked it or not - it was a very surreal experience for me. Frankly, this piece touched my soul in many uncomfortable ways. I think that may have been the point. I cried throughout the show and then let my guttural, fat, ugly sobs loose on the car ride home. I think this show is going to stick with me for awhile, for better or worse. So... thank you? At least I’ll have something to dig into at my therapy session tomorrow!...
