One of the reasons I have always loved solo shows is the depth of honesty and relatability. Leaving Prince Charming is further proof of that fact. Lara Repko delivers a masterpiece of solo theater with another in a long line of unfortunate stories about domestic violence. ...

It is easy to think of Pride Month in terms of exclamations, proclamations, and parades. But I know that there exists a foundation of stories like Ramy's. The recipe is all too familiar: self-awareness, family, religion, and multi-faceted acceptance. But, as is with Ramy, the stories are as unique as each person. Thank you Ramy for taking me on such a personal journey with you. And God bless you!...

Death is not normally a funny topic, but the brilliance of the script and the shear power of the performances by writer/ director Jessica Durdock Moreno and Nicky Romaniello turn this somber subject into a hilarious romp....

Theatre Unleashed has earned its reputation for consistently delivering Fringe hits, and this show does not deviate from that pattern. It was one of our Most Anticipated shows of HFF19, and was a truly different type of Fringe show for TU, proving that there is nothing they cannot do....

What a wonderful and important show. Lisa Verlo is marvelous as she strikes a blow against the misogyny of Hollywood. Her naïveté is charmingly portrayed, and I loved the songs and the use of Barbie and Ken as both metaphor and exemplar. Don’t miss this one. ...

I'm a huge John Lennon fan and so it was really rewarding to see a play that clearly demonstrated the love for this fascinating figure. The historical accuracy was on point, and the actors really captured the true essences of the real-life characters they were portraying. This play offers a really unique and fascinating portrayal of a very special man in one of his most interesting periods of life. ...

This show blew me away. Fiercely creative, incredibly revealing, hilarious but thoughtful. Both of these women have an incredible mastery of being concise. They chose every word, every movement, cleverly. While attacking two very different themes with intelligence, giving the audience a new perspective on feminism and death, it was also extremely moving. Awkward in the best ways, bold and quirky, the shows complimented each other perfectly. ...
