Moral Fixation (Originally titled Boys Will Be Boys)

I loved the show. I was along for every minute. I laughed. Almost cried. The characters were endearing and vulnerable, as was the content. Overall incredibly provocative, in a good way, but on multiple levels. Raises solid questions about morality, society, human behavior and relationships (I overheard other audience members saying the same thing), inspiring much reflection and conversation since seeing it. Really really well done, I highly recommend!... full review

THE HUMAN[OID] EXPERIENCE

chase carson · June 10, 2019 certified reviewer
The Humanoid Experience is a short but delightful story of a humanoid servant waking up in the not-so-far future. Hedelle, the humanoid's owner, uses it for almost everything which creates an unhealthy dependence on Alfred (the humanoid's name) that comes to light when he decides to explore the streets for himself. Full of humor and great one-liners, this is a show that I believe would surprise most people. ... full review

So many of us have always taken having children for granted. Thanks to the comic genius of Heather Dowling, we will never think of that topic in the same way we have before. Dowling delivered a gem in her last Fringe show back in 2015, the only year we did not attend, so we were determined to catch her latest show, and we’re so glad we did. ... full review

Wow...! I saw this show last night and I can't get it out of my head, I've been thinking and talking about it with friends all day today. To call it thought provoking is accurate, but feels like a cheap description of something so well written and carefully considered. With 5 cast members and 55 minutes they managed to meaningfully touch on every angle of a complex issue that is, and has always been present in every society, and perhaps closer to our personal lives than we would like to know. ... full review

In a mix of the Princess Bride meets The Neverending Story set to a My Chemical Romance album this often funny and yet often heartbreaking story is told with great care and attention by Drew Petriello, Brandon Karsh and Adam Cash. You will find yourself cackling with laughter and also holding your breath at some tense exchanges. It's the kind of story and setting that can work well beyond the Fringe as it touches on so many feelings, trends, thoughts and philosophies of the audience. It is a hear... full review
