"And Now It's All This!"

This is what the Fringe is for! This look at one moment in the young life of John Lennon, one whose repercussions extended through his solo years and death, is a unique and marvelous piece, beautifully written, directed, and performed. For even the casual Beatles fan, it's a great education into a now-mostly-forgotten disaster that nearly ended the group; and for those with the knowledge of it, it serves up a brilliant look into the psychology of this tormented, egotistical, genius far too ... full review

Two Girl, One Mic was a very funny hour of comedy. I would recommend seeing this show. Tabitha Brownstone's character Edith is brilliant! The interaction with the audience makes it feel like a moment where and SNL skit walks off out of your television and starts actually talking to you. Loved it!!... full review

HELL'S KITTY

This play is written by someone who obviously hates queer people and women. Literally every queer or female character in this is portrayed a demon, witch, killer, and obsessed with the straight white male lead. And if they don't hate those groups? They are incredibly oblivious and part of the problem. ... full review

Under the Table and Dreaming

A very beautiful, touching piece of theatre. What moved me the most, was that this was a story that put two queer men in the focus, but never resorted to the tropes of typical queer stories. It was a slice of life, and refreshing to see queer people not be tragically struck down by disease, or their relationship torn apart by cheating, or the other stereotypical staples. I felt so connected, and moved, and the entire cast did a great job. The characters genuinely loved each other and worked throu... full review

REVENGE OF THE ROOTBEER: The Sequel To Night Of The Rootbeer

I really wanted a nice cold root beer after this show. And it was fun to see actors going to town like this, playing off one another in a zany out of this world script in such a manner I felt like I was briefly on another plane of existence. A dimension between time, space, soft drink refreshment and theatrical abstraction that was abstrusely compelling. The Kandinsky of Fringe shows.... full review

Sweet, funny, and absolutely delightful. Under the Table and Dreaming is an extremely entertaining story that has you both feeling for the characters, and laughing alongside them. With wonderful writing (from both the original fanfiction and Le's adaptation), and perfect cast, and a plot that's both simple and compelling, this show was destined to be a hit from its very conception. I can't recommend this show enough. Particularly if you're part of the LGBTQ community, and have always yearned to s... full review
