If you are a human being in LA, you NEED to see this show! Especially if you are a woman, a Jew, queer, or a person who hates fascism and bigotry. If you are someone who hasn't read Anne's diary since middle school or are a WWII history buff, everyone will get something out of this show. It is extremely funny, heartfelt, and relatable. I learned more about Anne than I ever knew before and got to rediscover what an intelligent young woman she was. This show is politically poignant in a society t...

The show was a complete delight and a well-balanced mix of sarcasm, humor, awkwardness & ridiculousness. I left the immersive show not knowing who was a cast member and who was a random guest from the audience because it felt so seamless - well done!...

TAPPING MY WAY TO THE NUTHOUSE - AND BACK
Lynne Jassem, a tiny, diminutive but feisty woman, tells and taps out the story of her life as a child performer, overly-smothered and pushed relentlessly by a stage-mom, who was once a Rockette, that led her into much turmoil in her following years. She re-enacts her childhood dance classes, portraying both herself as a scared little girl and all of the elders she comes in contact with, the first being her dance teacher, Charlie, who has a gruff voice...

Entertaining and thought provoking!
I have a familiarity with the Arthurian legends -- knowingly nodding or chuckling when the various characters are introduced and act as they are fated to -- and am curious how someone might react with no previous exposure....

What a heartfelt and humorous look at a cultural touchstone that will only exist in our memories. For someone who religiously visited and ultimately worked at (for several years) Blockbuster and for anyone who appreciates the ways in which movies shape ourselves, our identities and our values, our friendships and relationships, this was a truly satisfying piece of theatre....
