The show was very campy and dark, and will probably be enjoyed by a much younger demographic. It also seemed like the cast was not quite up to the challenge, as their were serious vocal issues. The one shinning star was the over-the-top performance of Maeve Thompson Osgood as Lisa Graves. Although not a total bomb, it could use some additional rehearsal time and maybe some recasting before going forward. i truly see the potential in the show, but felt it was not nearly as strong as NMI‘s othe...

Everyone has a story to tell, and plenty of them end up as Fringe solo shows. Dianne Pennington has had an interesting journey and plays herself well, abetted by Gil Karson's guitar, but she's overshadowed on stage by her friend Candida Rodriguez, who inadvertently steals her show by expertly playing a variety of characters, female and male, in Dianne's life to date! A sad start leads to a life-affirming conclusion, and that's a story worth telling! ...

So funny! The actors had a blast with Holiday Kinard’s whip-smart script. A great show that sent up all the absurdity of the current political situation, without getting bogged down by the despair....

Writer Pierce Minor has made a high-tension thriller that brings empathy to a pariah figure. Well acted and directed, with a surprising amount of humor to cut the tension. A very worthwhile show!...

I feel the need to state that, this was my date's selection.
Now, if you are reading on... It's a curious piece of theatre. One character is terrifically unlikable for the first... twenty minutes. The other is even more beguiling at various times. There is a riptide of Christianity throughout. ...

Well it’s interesting, I’ll give it that. If you come to see this show, come drunk. The very dedicated and well-directed cast truly do their best, it seems.
It’s about a white straight male with a cat played by a woman who rarely speaks. If you just rolled your eyes, then multiply that x100 and that’s how I felt watching Hells Kitty.
The writing is insane, and not clever. If you think “pussy” is the funniest word you’ve ever heard, then this is the show for you.
It all moves so fast, ...

The true passion and love of the Tangueros towards the story telling was absolutely admirable. The mélange of music and background selection along with theatrical movement of these 2 artists (Gimena and Tomas) was smart and breathtaking. The wardrobe, makeup and minimalist set design yet good enough was perfect to amuse the audience. I would see this tang show again and again. ...

A beautiful story that is as entertaining as it is authentic. Amy Argyle and Rita Cofield have put together a striking and wonderful production of this Mexican play. It feels almost effortless as Argyle, Hays Mceachern and the rest of the strong cast come together. I'd liken it to seeing an artist paint, at times you feel as if you aren't sure what will happen next but as you step back and the piece comes together you realize you are seeing a true work of art....
