"To Richard" is a moving, impossibly entertaining portrait of two people in dire straits who discover the magic of connection. Moreno's writing is stellar and crisp, but, more importantly, deeply human and unsparing in its acknowledgement of the complexity of tragedy. Do not miss it--so incredibly psyched that it will be coming back for Encores!...

April is such a gifted performer and has a heart as big as Ireland! I love the way her passion for life comes through in her show. I felt as though her kids must be the luckiest to have her as a mom, and I felt completely seen as a mom myself. We are flawed, imperfect, and trying our best while trying to understand who we are as these new people - “mom” - and April voices this flawlessly....

Candace Carnicelli delivers a very important performance that weaves between global and American history, personal narrative, and poignant insights. Underlying her themes, her message centers on peace and love. She works out these seeming big ideas through a very effective use of documentary footage, historic photos, recorded music, her own singing, humor, and storytelling. And, she does this huge task, effortlessly and seemingly with ease. ...

The show was very well thought out and honest. The focus on "starving artists" in LA provided an excellent vehicle to talk about mental health and the struggles that come with it. I found myself really caring about the characters and wanting them to succeed. They won the audience over with authenticity and I would be surprised if anyone who saw the show did not identify with one, if not all, of the characters. ...

This would, for anyone, be a difficult performance to put on stage for all the world to see. It was an intensely personal look into what few of us experience -- a rare world to be invited as a guest and a visit that will make every one of us come out better for having spent the time. ...

Pure unadulterated highest quality vastly entertaining, brilliantly biting theater. Everything was extraordinary: The writing (not surprised to learn that Nicky Silver is Troy Deutsch’s friend and mentor); the direction (with a name like Tinks Lovelace, she must succeed or fail spectacularly — she succeeds) and the theatrical monster that is Kristina Mueller, who throws the whole shebang around her like stardust dancing through the hour with such skillful abandon that time whistles by. Bravo!...

Kent Randell masterfully recounts memories of the people and experiences that shaped the man who he is today. He took the audience on an emotional journey, from laughter to tears. The theme of his one-man show is relevant to issues we are currently living through. I was captivated through the entire story....
