“The Bully Problem” is absolutely delightful and engaging from start to finish. It’s also funny as all get out! There was not a moment that I was not totally riveted by what was happening onstage. I wanted to be able to watch all four actor’s faces at the same time because there was so much depth in the performances. Overall I enjoyed the narrative of cishet-white-dude-who-thinks-he-can-change-the-world-while-still-being-complicit-in-capitalism-gets-his-ass-handed-to-him-by-the-reality-that-all-of-our-real-life-heroes-are-disappointing-at-best-and-nefarious-at-worst. The actors all seemed to be enjoying themselves and there was a genuine air about them all. In classic superhero movie fashion, there was even an end credits scene. Starting with waking up to the Woolsey Fire in Malibu and being evacuated from his home on a moments notice, he is somehow able to bring a comedic lightness to an otherwise devastating situation.
