Really enjoyed the concept of this show but I felt there were gaps within the script that threw me off track. It took me a while to figure out what was happening. It’s tough when it’s only two actors talking to try and keep audience engaged. Funny and Heartbreaking. The powerful piece triggered memories of past relationships with all of their ups and downs and forced me to reexamine my perspective on how I relate and listen to people I've cared about. It went deep to paint a picture of the thoughts we are afraid to bring light to. Heart felt and wholesome laughter that makes tears feel like oxygen. It was a fresh breath of air to share space with the downs of life to the reversal perspective that curses are blessings in disguise. Love the dynamic range of characters impersonations. The most pleasant surprise I've had this Fringe - a charming and impossibly naturalistic show that never fails to impress with just how 'real' it seems. It feels like you're just eavesdropping on a group of friends for an hour. And it helps that each of these friends is well-developed and engaging from beginning to end. Raised By Wolves absolutely blew me away. Marla led us through her past and balanced it perfectly with whimsy, dark humor, pathos.
