A harrowing, yet humorous and audience-friendly account of the writer/performer's journey into, through, and out of Scientology. More than any articles, documentaries, or reports I've ever known, this led me to grasp, not just the most extreme of what the Church of Scientology does or has done, but how it works. Most specifically, how it progresses with its adherents from a Self-Esteem-building service into a controlling force. Pure brilliance, and potentially life-changing....

This was a fun show with very sharp satire. And it was staged really well for a budget production - everything worked - and it looked like the actors were having a blast....

The show is well written and very well performed.
The two main characters are nicely defined, with an interior depth, which only shows itself slowly over the course of the play. And as it takes a certain time to determine whether the other "best friend" characters are actual protagonists or projections of their hosts' interior dialog, it works to the overall advantage of the piece. ...

Awesome play by Robyn Migel! It has everything. Very well written, great dialogue! Very moving performances by the entire cast there was also a comedic scene by the hilarious Megan Olivia. A must see! You’ll laugh, you’ll cry... your emotions will fly along with the characters lighting up the stage! Quite literally felt like a physical representation of an anxiety attack unfolding in front of you. The intensity, the breathing, the pace. It was quite a genius production. Quick, jam-packed and an experience to remember. Plays of this nature can easily become very one note- but 45 milligrams was real, had excellent comedic moments and visceral. I wouldn't miss this conversation starter. ...

A heartwarming show stacked with wonderful characters and performances. Funny, effortlessly charming and touching without being manipulative it is well staged and well composed considering such a large cast of characters that could have quickly become confusing. But Amanda Lloyd keeps everything moving and utilizes the limited space with purpose and creativity to create a breezy and easy to follow experience. In the end it becomes the feel-good play of the Fringe!...

SMART, HILARIOUS, AND COMPELLING, BUSHWICK is a play not to be missed! Travel back in time to New York City when Obama was president, and life was, well... different, to a degree. The story is captivating, and the cast members are superb. I was entertained from start to finish and left the theatre wanting MORE. Schuyler Mastain knows how to write and direct an amazing piece of theatre! Congrats to the cast and crew for bringing to life this wonderful piece of art! ...
