Crack Whore, Bulimic, Girl Next Door is a bold, gut wrenching and impossibly funny exploration of the tormented inner world of a depressed bulimic woman. The acting is raw, edgy and fearless. Sound grim? It's not. Marnie Olsons writing is so devastatingly self deprecating and honest that with a few dance numbers, a rollicking sound track, artful lighting by Joshua Silva, and fast paced witty staging by director Jenny Chun it all comes crashing together in this riveting entertaining one act rol...

Incredible!!! No need to know anything about D&D coming in, because the actors do a great job of adapting the game to fit their unique story on coping with the passing of loved ones. Vivi Thai and Susannah Snowden-Ifft's connection lifted from the stage and straight into the audiences' hearts. Such wonderful humor in a heavy piece! Great balance!...

The show paid homage to the MCU, complete with cartoon intros to each scene and a post-credits final scene. The show is hilarious in that it does not take itself too seriously. Every cast member turned in amazing performances, making this one of the “must see” shows of HFF19, especially if you are a Marvel fan. ...

Chambers Stevens has done it again with this amazing story that would fit perfectly into the fall line-up of The CW. Perfectly directed by Victoria Hoffman, this hilarious three-hander features the amazing talents of future Oscar winner Maitlyn Pezzo, along with Laurent Sayer and Bethany Nava. It is a true ensemble piece, as the talents of all three were needed to pull it off...

The sheer, giddy joy Brett displays when sharing his love of baseball with his audience is the best part of the production. I can't imagine having more fun being inundated with the minutiae of a sport I only follow superficially. The audience, I'm sure full of fans and non-fans alike, was clearly engaged, entertained and rooting on this charming repository of baseball trivia. There was active hooting and frequent spontaneous bursts of applause. Truly fun, non traditional solo show magic....

If you didn't see Heather's first solo effort, "Unemployed Finally,"and wondered what made it so popular that it was nominated for Best of Fringe in 2015, this new production, "Fertile" will give you a good idea why. This is an even funnier, more poignant, more polished production. Her writing is always great, insightful and hilarious but it's her work as an actor that really shines here. With no direct narration to the audience, Heather spins a beautiful tale with just the menagerie of well defi...

A fantastically made show that plays like the top tier caliber of an original "Twilight Zone" episode. Often funny but never losing it's satirical wit, and delivering a poignant message without being too heavy handed or silly. This is some of the very best that Fringe has to offer!...

As a fan of absurdist comedy and Salvador Dali, I really wanted to like this show. "The Trial of Dali" is an ambitious but unfocused dramatization of an ordeal from the life of the famous Spanish surrealist painter that failed to coalesce into the mad cap farce it was meant to be - at least during the performance I saw. ...

"...And though she be but little, she is fierce..." Fractured Shakespeare's "Speak I Will" at Fringe creates a synthesis of the Bard's works, exposing parallels between old ways of thinking and the current uprising of feminine power. I was delighted to see how the worlds each woman created were uniquely different from each other, and that their words were not limited to Shakespeare's female characters....
