Life Plan, or Living Your Best Life in a Collapsing World

From the very start, I was sold on the concept. The show is such a clever satire on the industry of happiness and they lampooned all the ways that companies exploit people's hopes and dreams in such a smart way. The media, presentation, and costumes were all beautiful. And the casting couldn't have been better. Everyone was hilarious! ... full review

A Time Traveler's Guide to the Present

brett moore · June 17, 2019 certified reviewer
This is one of the most inventive and exceptional solo shows I've seen at Fringe, regardless of year. The story is compelling, and Harvey's mastery of body language and voice allows him to play at least a dozen different roles, and he masterfully complements his story with his guitar loops without losing the attention of the audience in any one of his shifts. This is one of the most compelling shows I've seen this year, and you need to be RUNNING to the next performance of this show. There should... full review

Saving Cain

brett moore · June 17, 2019 certified reviewer
A powerful piece that examines what our beliefs can give us... and what it can cost us if we hold on too tight. Aaron Kozak is a regular Fringe writer for a reason, and this is one of his most moving and challenging scripts yet. The cast he assembled is up to the task, most especially Leah Verrill and Lenny Hernandez, who shine particularly bright as the mother and son at the center of the play.... full review

Four Clowns Presents: Shakedown at the Dusty Spur!

eric kaufman · June 17, 2019 certified reviewer
This show was a wild… wild west ride! Usually, a show has only 1 or 2 stand-out actors, but this show the entire cast was fantastic. The audience participation and improve was so good – I was literally on the edge of my seat. And then, just when you think you're witnessing a typical Western-style showdown… there’s a twist! I highly recommend stopping by the Dusty Spur for a highly entertaining show.... full review
