This ensemble loves the material and each other. They commit to this marvelous script and their tenacity pays off. The women of this company constitute one of the strongest female ensembles I've seen at Fringe. Leading the charge is Vivi Thai, her beautiful transition between awkward role-playing newb to impassioned adventurer is measured and perfect. Susannah Snowden-Ifft, as the perky and adorkable Tilly, expertly tackles the tricky role of geeky sister and fantasy heroine. The core relationsh...

It's an adorable, funny, sweet, tender, moving treatment of a timely and timeless problem. The music is catchy and filled with tight harmonies sung beautifully by a talented ensemble. Crisply-paced and mined for every bit of humanity and humor in the book. Michael Gordon Shapiro has written a show with legs....

Let me start by saying I am generally not a fan of the genre… BUT
“Let’s Write a Musical” is two very different heartfelt love stories inexplicably intertwined seamlessly which weaves a broad panoramic tapestry of romantic love masterfully.
Being both an artful tribute to the feel good musicals of our past and the skillful marriage of the reality of real life this production evokes genuine emotions without schmaltz or grandiosity.
“Let’s Write a Musical“ economically tells an original story f...

This Way Yonder is a really beautiful story about complex family dynamics, independence, and growing pains set in a very specific time and place insomuch as this story could not have taken place anywhere else. The writing is reminiscent of a more humor-driven Tennessee Williams, and the cast's preparation really showed in monologue after monologue, hitting each nuanced note with care. Not to mention the chemistry between the cast was easy and believable, and the direction was seamless. Highly r...

Unfortunately I missed the show because the parking situation is ridiculous and your security guard is quite a rude person so I paid for my ticket I Went on that area for the show only. I leave in San Gabriel Valley but it was already 1:25 and I was still looking for parking so I’m upset about that. Next time put signs where to park. Again I’m upset I miss it because I couldn’t find parking. 😡 ...
