YA BASTA: TIME'S BEEN UP

It was an amazing show. They did an amazing job bringing us back to the 90s. Great selection of music, good job setting up the stage for each scene. The actresses were able to bring us into the story and pull at out heart strings. The entire play was about sexual harassment and assault in the workplace. ... full review

The Institute for the Opposite of Longing

This was a fascinating show. Equal parts heartbreaking and (oddly) inspiring. I was completely blown away by this world that these two incredibly gifted artists created and how they were able to pull you into it within the first few minutes. As it went on, you not only understood their "longing," you felt it with them. They also provide the space for you to identify your own longing as they gently, but strikingly make the struggle universal. This is a very artistic show, one meant for Fringe, and... full review

Funeral Potatoes

A poignant and emotional time in the lives of two very close friends becomes a reflection on our own life as we hear and experience some of their pain. The writing is very good, and the two young actors brought life experience seemingly beyond their years along with them as they take us through a journey that causes all of us watching to feel their insecurities about what is about to happen. I could feel the audience being moved almost to tears, as was I.... full review

Tattered Capes

TATTERED CAPES was totally unique and surprising. It started out like I thought it would but then took me in a whole other direction that caught me off guard. A love story wrapped in super hero capes and other dimensions, but it had the common themes of love and relationships that we all experience: Finding out things we didn't know about our partner, the changes in dominance, outside forces, our friends' influence, and, ultimately, whether we really love each other for the long haul or not. ... full review
