Shari’s show left me deep in my feels! I can’t believe someone can endure all of that and still be able to smile. Shari is full of passion, heart and soul as she tells us about some of our darkest human conditions, about how she endured, endures and determines to make a change. Her drive for a better life for others in the foster care system is relentless and inspiring. Watch this woman. On stage you see it all: She is made from magic, from fire and I sense she won’t stop until she has saved ever...

My Trans Wife is an incredible story of the human spirit and heart surrendering to itself and the pure love residing in it. These two beautiful women share their story: their relationship, it’s ups, it’s downs, their love for each other, presenting and transitioning into a female identity, dealing with life, family, friends. This was awe inspiring and eye opening for me. Thank you for bravely sharing your story. The beautiful harmonica pieces. Hearing the journey of your love and knowing the (ter...

Inspired by music and the aesthetic of the poseur Hot Topic goth and pop-punk scene from the mid-2000's, Sunbathe In Darkness, is a nostalgic-driven play focusing on a very awkward friendship between two geeky teens while simultaneously featuring incredibly terrible (on purpose) fan fiction dramatized for the stage. Bunny, The Elf is in all of us. The dreams we dared to dream as children get reasoned out of us as reality and responsibility 'grows us up'. The criticism of 'get a real job' that most artists/entertainers hear often is all too relate-able. As if making people smile wasn't a real job. What a gift it is to make a living as an entertainer. Getting paid to make people smile-IS AN IMPORTANT JOB. This is why it's always a huge accomplishment when an artists gets a gig lasting longer than a day or a ...

A “one-man show with a two-person cast,” the play hysterically goes to the mattresses with a solo show that uses the stage as a reason to regurgitate their life story; as a form of personal therapy; and as a vehicle for their own masturbatory amusement. “Blackboxing” also takes multiple nods and pot-shots at theatre community superstitions, overused dramatic standards, and novice Hollywood Fringe show producers' unreasonable expectations, over-estimations, and underestimations–all to great comic...

I saw this show for the first time at The Whitefire Theatre/ Solofest 2019. What a treat to see it again! I love how Lisa is brazen in her performance. She is my inspiration to be brave in my show. She spoke about subject matters that most women would be hesitant to reveal, especially today. Lisa embraces all her choices and rolls around with them on stage orchestrating a beautiful performance with song and hilarity. Hollywood is still crawling with predators feasting on young hopeful starlets. ...
