I took a risk with a show I didn't know AND I AM SO GLAD I DID.
Everything about this show is perfect! The flyers and digital promotions for this show perfectly underplay the genius that IS this show. I had tears in my eyes from laughing so much! I will be seeing this again before June is over. ...

I'd pay to watch a solo sketch show populated just with Lara's weird, wonderful, hilarious menagerie of characters (she does a lot of them and very well!). When they're deployed in service what is obviously a very dark and difficult time in her love life, it becomes something even more compelling and watchable. Lara is a gifted writer and performer and the high-energy direction propels her to some very terrible places, leaving me feeling like a weirdo laughing merrily along before being caught up...

WORTH SEEING. Lindsey is everything - her characters, costumes and heart made this show one of my top 5 favorite shows of Fringe 2019. They layers to who these characters are and what they are saying is brilliant.
If you're considering a One-Woman Show, this is it!...

A great first run of performing this show. We were told that this show is in its workshopping phase- and I think this is a great foundation for that phase. A really creative way to tell this type of story. Catchy songs, relatable characters, and some fun inside jokes thrown in for the DnD fanbase. ...

Absolutely amazing one woman show. Every moment is delivered perfectly. Jeannette finds the perfect balance to deliver such a tough subject in a respectful, relatable, educational, hilarious way. The characters, the voices, and the stories, kept me involved and entertained from the start to the end. I laughed, I cried, and I related to Jeannette’s story on so many different levels. Such a great show, highly recommend for everyone to see. ...

In a festival filled with solo shows, cabarets, sketch shows and musicals (all great and welcome, btw), it was delightful to see a simple...play. A beautiful love story, no less, that imagines Andy and Sid from "Toy Story," after their childhood run-ins, falling for one another and working out their relationship well into adulthood. With gentle, grounded performances from the two leads and thoughtful, well paced direction (and script adaptation) from Lanchi Le, this play was touching, funny and v...

I thought this was a really fun and original idea. The vignettes explored an impressive array of stories and themes that never left me bored. The women brought each vignette and respective character to life with such vibrance. I'd say go see it but I read it's sold out! ...

A well-balanced and written anthology of pieces that make you scared, give you the creeps (the good kind!), but also really make you think about life and the supernatural. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and really glad I saw the midnight showing! That helped add another layer of spook. ...

A great story with a great message. When I leave a show thinking about an aspect of life- no matter if it is about friendship, love, social issues, etc.- and I want to do something about it for myself, I feel that is evidence that a story was done or told well. That is exactly how I felt leaving Funeral Potatoes. I also appreciate stories like this because they are a big part of the healing process for audience members who may have gone through similar things. This helped. Thank you. ...

If you had the great pleasure of meeting Christi at any of the pre-Fringe social events, you already have a good idea of what to expect: endless good cheer, positivity and joy. I've had run ins with the dark stuff at a few shows this year and this show was like a blast of peppermint-scented air through my musty, gloom-addled brain. Beyond just good will, Christi brings sharp writing, staging and characterization. Bunny is relentlessly upbeat, but Christi layers in just enough poignancy and self-d...

ARISTOPHANES’ THE BIRDS IS A MOUTHFUL, THAT THIS PRODUCTION DIDN’T CHOKE ON IT AND STILL MANAGE TO SPIT A COUPLE OF WELL AIMED WADS IN THE DIRECTION OF THAT TROLL IN THE OVAL OFFICE IS ENOUGH FOR ME TO RECOMMEND IT. THAT IT WAS ALSO FUNNY IS JUST ICING ON THE CAKE. (WAIT! THAT ISN’T “ICING,” IT’S - DAMN THOSE BIRDS!!!)...

This was a sort of Beckett-meets-Stoppard wordplay deconstructing a familiar myth/folk tale. In it, Spencer Green shows not only how we never escape "our nature," but also examines power dynamics between the characters as they switch roles back and forth. It is witty, funny, and you'll walk away with more understanding than when you walked in....
