Two engaging and dynamic performers. The stand up comedy scene is incredibly overstuffed and crowded with so many shows to choose from...many of which don't account for quality. This hidden gem was a breath of fresh air and exemplifies the reason we patronize The Hollywood Fringe. Treat yourself and check it out....

Amazing play the touches on several realities that existed in America during the Civil Rights Movement and some that also still exist today. The play is very well written and the actors did a wonderful job playing the iconic figures. I definitely plan to go back and see it again! ...

DePriester has written a taut, classically structured decline of a family that takes off from a seemingly absurd premise and dives straight into the dark heart of our current political moment. The play is unabashedly political while remaining grounded in all-too-believable characters. Excellent acting all around - highly recommend! ...

This is a big story told pretty well. I appreciate the cast's commitment to the high stakes of this war zone epic and the Bollywood dance breaks are a true joy and bring needed levity to the chaos of their world....

Pocketmon is a campy, nostalgic comedy that knows it's a parody and doesn't take itself too seriously, creating a fun time for both audience and actors (they at least all looked like they were having a blast, if not they're REALLY GOOD actors). Referencing so much more than just our beloved video game from the 00s, Brandon Pfeltz has a creative brain that is able to mash up favorites from across decades into a show that scores major points across generations. From "Bug Catcher Brian" to "GrandePu...

Doug Harvey takes you on a trip through time and space but never leaves you behind. Part science, part comedy, but at the root of it all is heart. The love we have for others, the emotional struggle of memories, and the need to survive help make this piece so much more. One of the best solo pieces you'll see at Fringe this year....

Since sitting down for the duration in the same room as this, I have been consumed with a powerful thirst. No liquid can quench, no substance may satisfy. I leave now to walk across the ocean floor to the wrecked schooners of my forebears, praying the pungent brine of the Atlantic will slate this thirst. Perhaps it is a lust for the open sea. Perhaps there was something in the Rootbeer....
