This is easily one of my favorite shows I’ve seen this fringe. So much fun and so incredibly well done with a dash of audience participation to keep everyone on their toes and having a rowdy time....

Relevant. Complex. Striking.
I did not know about the Anglophone crisis in Cameroon, which can be said for so many crises around the world, and yet more and more we are becoming made aware of these issues through various forms of social media, a point highlighted in the show. Ghost Town is a testament to power of one person's desire to engage in a story, digging into all its complexities, and sharing one's discoveries, in the hopes of igniting others' concern and curiosity about the worlds unkn...

A fun concept with poor execution. I really wanted to love this experience, but the performances were terrible and the entire production felt like a bad summer camp exercise. We had no idea what we were supposed to do or why, the entire narrative was a mess, and each "quest" my friends and I embarked on had an unclear purpose....

Fringe is such an incredible time for theatre creation. We're given so little time to develop our baby, and when it's time to put it up, we have 15 minutes to set up and 15 minutes to strike. As such, the diamonds are created from this intense pressure, and this is why The Last Croissant is one of the best shows of the Fringe. Everything from the set, costumes, direction, writing, sound, and of course the performances have been painstakingly thought out. And yet, throughout, the actors remain pla...

The vulnerability of Amanda's story is both relatable and endearing. We root for Mandy right out of the gate, as she takes us on her version of the ride to empowerment and self-acceptance that just about every human being experiences in their own way. We see ourselves in Mandy, and she gives us hope. ...

A fun blend of immersive theater, carnival, RPG, and history, Ascend puts you into the shoes of Unnamed Hero and let's you do what you will with your time among the gods. Playful and fun, the biggest strength comes from the lack of linear structure, giving the audience ample time to gather what story or experience they wish. ...

Two wealthy African-American entertainers at the height of their careers take a trip to Greenwood Mississippi in 1964. Harry Belafonte & Sidney Poitier, travel to complete a task there, which as you can imagine is the last place you’d want to be in 1964 as an African-American. The acting is top tier and the writing is clever. I highly recommend seeing the show, you’ll be in for a treat it’s a ton to unpack so a second, maybe even a third watch will be warranted! ...

Okay, I was hoping that the titular song would be out of my head by the time I wrote this review, but seeing as it's been over a week since I've seen the show and I'm still humming along, looks like I'll have to give up on that idea. (curse you clowns)
It is so nice to see that Four Clowns have made their return to Fringe, this time with the very funny Joe DeSoto at the helm. This show did not disappoint. I had a BLAST from beginning to end. The thing that Four Clowns does so well is create su...

Provocative, stirring, and not here to play nice, Start Swimming looks into the audiences faces and asks them the most uncomfortable of questions: What are you doing here? Prepare to question your way of life, your decisions, the institutions that ground you and the very idea of "you" in this world of fake rules and made up boundaries. ...
