Me and my boo laughed for hours into the night this was so funny! Every freaking scene took the foolery and fantasticness to a new level of laughter. We deep belly laughed. The actors were great it was very reminiscent of "In Living Color" sketch comedy, VERY edgy, raw, relatable and thought provoking....

A fun romp of a musical! ... I've seen the HELL'S KITTY movie this play is based on and the play follows it pretty closely - even expands on it a bit. The audience had a great time! Fun to see if you're a cat lover, a horror movie lover, or a lover of musical theater....

Excellent depiction of severe psychological disabilities. Jessie is very honest and clear about the difficulties she has faced, and has developed an impressive show depicting them in a graphic way. I have worked as a psychologist with individuals in similar situations and found this depiction very honest and true. ...

This play bravely takes on a VERY important subject that is being totally ignored. I applaud this creative team for bringing this play to the Fringe. One has only to drive a street away from the venue to see this play in reality everyday. I think theatre at its best tackles the important subjects of the day. Kudos to The Flower Society!...

I’ve watched Edie and Petey Stevenson sing their way through steamy scenes since they first appeared in a shorts show at the old Elephant Theatre over a decade ago. One of the reasons they’ve come back in so many forums is the humor, empathy and ingenuity of playwright Tony Foster. Amir Levi and Demetris Hartman launch Edie and Petey into comedy's stratosphere. Levi's legs are hurricanes of movement and emotion, and Hartman paints a color filled portrait of a young man who comes to realize his...

I absolutely loved this show.Marnie Olson’s writing blew me away with her illustration of the many facets of the inner voice of the female mind. I related to them all and found it frightening and comforting at the same time to see these inner voices actually played out in such a unique and clever way. Huge fan of ‘Marnie Olson Humor.’...

Death and the Fool was brilliantly performed. The actors clearly devoted a lot of time to honing their bodies to perform intense physical theatre. It was a rollercoaster of emotion. I very much enjoyed it!...

The story created here subverts the superhero tropes well. Full of funny jokes about secret identities and superhero struggles, the play's core centers around a married couple's struggle that is very real and very poignant. It definitely gave me some serious feels. ...

Genuine, Human, Immersive
Carl is genuine. This is not a set about a sexually frustrated wife at home with two kids having the comic lampoon them in front of strangers for laughs. No, this is Carl who odd as it may seem has a life that is all too comically true. Why embellish when the truth has your audience busting a gut.
Human it is. Carl has a talent for bringing you to the scene that he is illustrating with words. You are there. You feel for the man who has had some pratfalls all ...

My top level assessment after seeing the show? There’s potential there, but it does need some work (which isn’t a bad thing). It didn’t have a Fringe-y feel to it: the story felt put together, and the performances were reasonably good. Yes, there were some staging and performance notes, but those are correctable. More significant was the story: there is potential there, but some more shaping is needed to bring it to that next level. Bu...
