SWIPED

For those brave enough to venture into the world of online dating, you now have a voice; and a sultry one at that. Alena Bernardi takes on the role of "Polly", a young woman searching for romance, with a passion that cannot be denied. Quite the contrary, the audience will be drawn in as Polly takes them along for a ride that is both easily relatable and socially relevant like no other show you've seen before. Through the use of mobile technology, Polly has control over virtually every aspect of h... full review

Shiva for Anne Frank

It's been almost a day and it's so much of what I've been thinking about the past 24 hours. Steele takes audiences through a discussion of her own engagement with Anne Frank and her work, noting the sexism in the reception of the diary and its legacy, its relevance to young Jewesses (it's okay, she's reclaimed that word), and how it should move us to action in 2019. Throughout it, she bounces through subjects as varied about her experiences with anal sex, Anne's beauty regiments and cattiness... full review

Crack Whore, Bulimic, Girl-Next-Door

victor sotomayor · June 23, 2019 certified reviewer
Such a riot and harrowing story about a bullimic girl that will make you feel squeamish, laugh out loud and want to just give her a hug and tell her how beautiful she is without having to put her on a scale. What a powerful play. A must see for teenagers who are probably going through the same nightmare right now! ... full review

Princess Magic's Trash Time Revue

nicholas ellingsworth · June 23, 2019 certified reviewer
I loved it! This was exactly what I wanted it to be, if I had hired a drunken magic vagrant to entertain children at a birthday party. Princess Magic (Misty Lee) does a great job of reading the audience, picking up the pace when things slow down and staying in that sweet spot when the laughs are rolling in. The guests were equally as wonderful. That goat slideshow was very informative!... full review

THE PLAYWRIGHTS ARE POSERS, GOTHS FOR LIFE (& death). This play was rad as hell, incredibly well crafted and acted. Also any time a play can take place in a single room effectively is a hella good play in my book. Well done to everyone involved!... full review

Shiva for Anne Frank

“Shiva for Anne Frank” is a masterclass in tight-rope walking. Rachel McKay Steele’s ability to bounce between the tragic, the hilarious, and the offensive shouldn’t work, and yet this piece soars. A great reminder that the political is always best expressed through the personal, Shiva for Anne Frank is a must see. ... full review

Scarlett Fever

Scarlett Fever revisits David O. Selznick’s highly publicized search for the perfect actress to play Scarlett O’Hara in Gone With the Wind. One of the most successful publicity stunts in Hollywood history, the facts have been examined in books, dramas, and documentaries. Writer/Director/Creator John Wuchte’s idea is to view the story through his unique fusion of kinesics, stylized dialogue, and percussion. The result, unlikely as it sounds, is a captivating and hypnotic dance through a Tinseltown... full review

It's a wonderful hour of comedy. They is some mild audience participation that the performers improv with so incredibly well. If you asked me to describe the show I would just say that a bunch of wacky western characters walk on stage and make an audience laugh for 60 minutes straight. So many great laughs.... full review
