Fifty Shades of Melania

One of the most enjoyable hours I spent at the festival this year was when I saw Liana’s creation. In a ubiquitous sea of mundane political lampooning and easy low-hanging Donald Trump bashing, this clever writer / performer dives far deeper in her exploration of the First Family than anything else I’ve seen out there. If they say, “Behind every great man is an even greater woman,” who, would they say, is behind an egomaniacal, halfwitted, selfish, spoiled, rapist manipulator asshat? Liana’s ch... full review

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT! Great story, though I know it was an expensive story to live, it was well done with class, humor and sincerity. Cathy told a truthful account of being tricked into this cult. She's also very brave to take on Tom Cruise. . ha ha. I would encourage you to see this play if you have the chance!!... full review

MOTHER'S MOTHERS' DAY

It was STUNNING work and carried all by a single brilliant actor. It was a lesson on the genesis of Mother's Day and arguably who started it. More importantly, it follows the journey of the credited woman who wanted to abolish it.... full review

A Time Traveler's Guide to the Present

Such an inventive piece of theater. Seamlessly melds the astronomical with the autobiographical to create a 50-minute roller coaster ride. Normally a one-man show can run its course quickly, but Harvey's ability to jump instantly between characters makes it fun to follow along. I can imagine this play being tweaked further so it's a bit easier to follow - the story is so dense that I had to really focus - and will be excited to see future iterations. It's a must-see while it's still running; no o... full review

ROLLING ON THE FLOOR WITH LAUGHTER. From the moment the action starts onstage the audience is taken on a wild ride, quite literally and figuratively. Pure fun, engaging script and all the ridiculousness you could ask for! The fact that they made it a mini musical was beyond incredible and I left the theatre humming their tune and trying to remember their moves ;) There were mini moments throughout the whole show that were so damn creative and my favorite Fringe show this year!
