Being allowed to participate as a community in this nude adventure made us confront how similar we all really are. The audience was happy and vibrant while the house was really respectful. Be it some one who gets naked every week or a shy first-timer, the sense of camaraderie between cast and audience members over our common humanity was so uplifting I'm still smiling one day later. After seeing this, you may never want to put on clothes again....

Collusion Alert! I know people in the show! In fact, my producer Kristen Boule is one of the co-creators. And she's fantastic. So forget about this review being objective. I love this show!...

Even as close as I was sitting, there was no way I could figure out how he was able to use sleight-of-hand skills to fool us so many times. How can he just shake a Rubik's Cube and have it automatically separate all the sides by color? How could he remember the exact order or cards in a desk after seeing them once after the entire deck was shuffled by the audience? How did a torn page from a book get into someone hand when it had just been in the book? Truly amazing and totally entertaining. ...

Wow, wow, wow, (Im) Perfekt is daring and bold. Jannica takes us on a creative and insightful ride of introspection on how we go through life so consumed with how we look, who we want to be, who we think we are, and the constant labling of others and ourselves. Her character work is stunning. I love all the characters so fun and smart. Alopecia blaming immune system was simply genius. Jannica's story was so heartfelt and moving, I laughed and I definitely cried. Thank you for this amzing m...

An astonishing performance and fascinating story. I'll take it on faith that the play is written in a strict rhyming meter, because Melanie Johnson delivers it so gracefully and playfully that you would never guess. Her portrayal of Nell Gwyn and a handful of other characters -- no, actually more interestingly: her portrayal of Nell's portrayal of the other characters -- is a treat. It took me a few minutes to tune-in to the accent, but once you are in her world she's a delightful guide to late 1...

From the description I didn't expect it to be as funny as it was. It was hilarious. The songs were fun and the star Glennis McCarthy has a great voice. She is very talented and when she played the various characters, especially the villainess, she was amazing. I was bowled over by her fabulous performance....

I've been to about 10 shows this festival, and was kinda tired so I wanted to stay in bed. I'm so glad that I went to this show!!
This play gave me a profound insight into the challenges that young contemporary adults have. It captured the spirits of the ensemble cast viscerally on their own navigating the great unknowns of taking steps forward in their maturity levels in regards to relationships; sexualities; friendships; and jobs as they grapple with their decisions to face the known...

If Jonathan Richman and Andy Kaufman had a lovechild and that kid grew up to stage a Fringe show, it probably would resemble "How to be a Rock Star". I'd seen Sam Pocker's "Need a friend..." flyer a while back and Googled him wondering what that was about. When I discovered that he had a Fringe show I was really looking forward to seeing it, because I reckoned it would be interesting and it was. Filled with songs, audience participation, laser lights and recipes. I'm glad that I saw it. ...

Hilarious! The performers turned the classic birthday party entertainment tropes on their heads. Magic tricks were carelessly presented and tossed aside (for huge laughs), kidsongs led to dark revelations, and contained characters revealed quite a bit of skin. It was intentionally terrible and oh so funny to watch! ...

This is an excellent, striking piece of work by the two principals, Christine Sage and Alex Parker, with a script by Spencer Greene that sustains a dark, juicy, weird mixture of funny & deep, bitter & endearing. "The Scorpion and the Frog" is really onto something. There is more in this vein to be mined by this playwright, this company, whatever's going on back there. I'm interested in seeing what will come from these folk next. https://www.the6thact.com/current-production ...

Life Plan feels as if you’re part of an infomercial where the host and his guests turn the tables on the audience.
I love the look of the stage with the PowerPoint presentation that shows you the life you could live if you joined Life Plan. It looks aesthetically pleasing to the eye, just like those commercials you end up watching for no particular reason and you end up buying the product....
