The cast brings all of their talents to bear at the highest level, which makes for an enjoyable exploration of geek vs. bully life in junior high school. There are some questions about the story (a father delivers a secret gift to a son who then proceeds to do everything he can to put it out there in the open) and some of the songs seem to hit the same emotional note but the show ultimately wins you over with its sheer relentless energy and there is one duet that makes everything about the exper...

Loved this play! It's wonderfully written and performed. There's no wasted time in this play; it gets to the story right away and lets you enjoy the performances from the three wonderful actresses. It's got comedy mixed with really touching character moments and authentic emotionality. Definitely one to go see!...

This is a really great show. Thematically, it is poignant and relevant to issues facing Black people today. The show takes place in 1964 during the Civil Rights Movement and the characters argue over the correct approach to effect change. Listening to them discuss what is happening at that time really makes you realize how little has changed in America since then. Things have changed in many ways, yes, but in so many other ways they really haven't at all. What is the best way to go about fighting...
