Though it is clear a lot of thought and physical effort went into shaping this piece, it is a challenge to grasp what the piece is actually about, all the more so after a post bows mini-speech addressed to hoping that anyone in the audience going through the same thing will be able to take something from their experience watching the show. ...

So much fun! The music was catchy, the performances were great, and the tone hit that family-friendly sweet spot between wholesome and weird. A great Fringe show!...

It is always impressive to see any show pull a cast of greater than two people together however here with this production, the show feels under-rehearsed and lacks clarity on every level. The pacing is all over the place and a couple of the poor actors were literally tripping over set pieces, pointing to the suggestion that this might be a half-baked idea. The songs are not catchy, nor are they clearly executed, though it's clear a few of the cast members have a solid voice. ...

Vanessa is a great storyteller. Her writing and performance showed the complexity of the vulnerability and strength it takes to grow into a woman.
Her little girl is amazing and her woman is true beauty. ...

Over WAY too soon. I wanted to spend the entire evening with these wonderful actresses. Boom Stick walks the precarious tightrope of pathos and laughter and sticks the landing with unprecedented skill, honesty, warmth and even hope. And anything Lauren Sperling touches will be gold.
This was my first official Fringe show this season, and it’s impossible to imagine anyone topping this. ...

I saw the preview of the show and was surprised by the sci-fi twist! The writing was clever and perfectly mocked all the things going on our in country. While the cast was great, Jim Hanna's sudden emotional turn toward the end of the show was powerful and compelling. Nice to see some emotional grounding in such a light comedy. Highly recommend....

Best live performance I have seen all year!
From the pre-show riffing to the play itself, the Last Croissant is charming from start to finish. The dialogue is sharp, the humor well-timed and the cast [and crew] clearly brimming with talent. And all this for only $10?? Don't miss out folks! ...

Death Wish is a well-balanced synthesis of hilarious comedy, lovely and toe tapping music, poignant philosophy about growing up, love, life, and death, as well. The show flows with unpredictable and fresh juxtapositions, Caitlin is fully invested, personable and relatable, her lyrics clever as hell! The music and visuals provide a dimension that most standup comics never achieve. I highly recommend ‘Death Wish’!...

A faithful adaptation with great heart and clever mechanics to bring a cartoon classic to the stage. Exactly the kind of production that Fringe is for: brisk, light, fun, easy, short. Left with a smile on my face. Will definitely be back at the end of the run!...

This show is proof of musical improv’s ability to transcend its own typically niche genre and appeal to mass audiences. The two performers exude talent and an effortless likability. A brilliant, bizarre, and wonderfully charming piece unlike anything else you'll see this Fringe (or maybe ever.) Ben speaks fluent corporate marketing lingo, but mashes it up with dadaist postmodern poetry/existential ruminations, singing, dancing, and crowd work. He's 100% committed to the strange fever dream of a show he's created, and as an audience member I was completely drawn in by the weird spell he cast. ...

Our story begins with our two characters Thyma(Kelly Pierre) and Aspid(Sam Sheeks) simultaneously thrown into a dark, locked chamber. The only thing there to take up any space is a small table with two chairs, and the horrible, gut-wrenching realization that these two people who seem have a great deal of history with each other, are now locked in this prison together with no seemingly way out.
I am hesitant to say any much more about the story, as I am a firm believer in not spoiling this prod...
