Very funny and original! A great example of a simple premise allowing a writer to tackle big themes. I encourage you to go in without knowing a thing, and allow yourself to be pulled into the story fresh. ...

I am still thinking about the emotional impact of these shows days later! I have to admit I didn’t know what to expect when going in to two back-to-back one woman shows, but trust me, it is beyond anything you could imagine. These performances are creatively risky, emotionally compelling, and dare to tackle big themes and societal issues. And on top of that, they are riotously funny! You will be mystified. You will cry. You will laugh. You will walk away with a new perspective. ...

Two brilliantly written plays. Although short, they pack a big punch. I laughed out loud. The playwrights created two dynamic worlds that immediately drew me in and left me wanting more. ...

The play begins in a completely immersive way, where you don't know if it has begun or not. This group is not afraid of silences and making us sit in the silence with them, which I really appreciated. In such an intimate theatre Where The Roses Bloom is staged and written in a way that makes you feel like you're a nosey neighbour peeking through a window witnessing this story of identity and discovery. ...

I didn't know what to expect going into the play. I went to see it because one of the actors is my friend. But I was BLOWN AWAY by how good it was. I don't normally watch a lot of plays, probably because the few I have seen are kind of boring, but that is NOT the case with this play. It was full of action and humor and HEART! I was amazed. I've never gotten teary-eyed by watching a play before, but SHE KILLS MONSTERS made me cry a bit. It was so moving....

400 + shows at the Fringe here’s the reason to go see this production- the brilliant performance of it lead actress Leah Verrill Heinz! Wow! We hate her character, then like her, then think she is silly and in the end we empathize recognizing in this crazy world there is no harder job than being a mom. Brilliant work....

Its about being a woman, its about being a daughter, but mostly about finding who you are, beyond the most importnt title in the world: Mom. I laughed, I cried, I got to get a glimpse into the REAL, REAL of motherhood and giving birth. April is an amzing actress, I love the vagina dialouge...genius. I loved this wonderful story of four generations of family and motherhood....

Just. WOW!
Heather Dowling takes a very personal subject & weaves in both heart felt humanity & light hearted comedy in a way that only she could.
As a woman over 30, I can't count how many times I get asked when I am planning on having kids. Whether you want them or not -- people somehow feel entitled to ask you. Heather tapped into her own vulnerability with truth and transparency ... I just can't say enough.
A definite MUST SEE rollercoaster that brings the audience from laughter to ...

Jannica struck chords so deeply embedded in my psyche and so resonant in our society there was pretty much an audible soundtrack of uh-huhs and mmm-huhs going on the whole time. Even though this was her very personal and not so common experience with the condition of Alopecia, we all related to so much of what she went through on her journey to self acceptance and love....

What an entrance! Marla grabbed the audience by the reigns and led us all on an amazing journey into her pre Hollywood world, introducing us to the pack and instructing us as to our place in it. Her flair for comedy was saturated in a wonderful combination of dead pan and wide eyed wonder as she grappled with where she fit in to this world. ...

In Under the Table and Dreaming, Lanchi Le makes her writing and directing debut with a story by Holly Hark about Andy and Sid, the human kids from Toy Story. But this is no sequel to the Pixar franchise. The show tells the what-if story of Andy and Sid becoming friends, discovering their attraction to one another, and ultimately having a long, rocky relationship in the adult world.
