The Princes' Charming

matt richter · June 10, 2016 uncertified reviewer
This show exemplifies the spirit of Fringe, for me. It can be enjoyed by anyone who is willing to take a seat. It's irreverent, it's funny, well written, acted and directed. Literally a perfect Fringe piece. ... full review

Love Is.

Love Is is a solid effort. I felt that the performances were stronger than the material, which is an unusual surprise. The acting is really top notch, across the board. My biggest issues with it were strictly plot and script related, which, with some fine tuning, will result in a real must-see piece of theatre. It's worth seeing this time around strictly for the performances. It truly features some of the finest acting I've seen in this festival. ... full review

Schoolcraft & Murray: Songs For The Inarticulate

matt richter · June 24, 2014 uncertified reviewer
I'm honestly surprised that Schoolcraft and Murray haven't yet had their own Comedy Central special; because that's what Songs For The Inarticulate can best be described as. The Wake

I don't think I can add anything to these reviews that hasn't already been said more eloquently by others. Don't miss this show. And don't ask anybody about it, either. I went in with almost no knowledge about it in advance, and I was blown away. ... full review

Beau & Aero

First of all, this is truly a show for the whole family. I attended as a solo adult, and was honestly just as entranced as the children in the audience. This show is downright charming. Combining humor and physicality unmatched in a venue so intimate, Beau and Aero is absolutely worth seeing. ... full review

Toddler Bangs America

matt richter · June 17, 2014 uncertified reviewer
Besides being an important comment on the current socio-political landscape in America, this piece is ridiculously funny. It's a really good time wrapped up in a soft tortilla of person responsibility and moral obligation. Go. ... full review
