Ernest Kearney’s “My Alamo War” is an unforgettable journey into the seedy heart of 1980s Hollywood, and a mission to bring to justice the Alamo Christian Foundation, a Pentacostal group, posing as an extension of the Jesus Movement of the 60s and 70s. The Alamos and their followers scoured the streets of Hollywood for the lost, desperate and destitute, shuttling them off to evening services an hour away in Saugus, CA.
