A hilarious and thought-provoking romp, gorgeously staged and deliciously acted. Fans of magical realism will be especially satisfied as well as mystified. Nothing is explained or accomplished in almost Brechtian fashion, which is as refreshing as drinking hot water with a slice of lemon after a heavy meal. After the laughter is done, you are left with so many questions......

Wowsers! The best offering yet from Robot Teammate, who are growing into their big boy pants at an astonishing rate. From the large cast to the costumes and choreography, they continue to raise the bar on their distinctive comedic oeuvre - and I couldn't be more pleased. The show is hilarious and heartwarming, with tons of punny in-jokes for those who like a good wink. And the performances of the Robot team are tremendous as usual, consistently stealing their scenes. Galactical theatrical brilliance! Who are these School of Night people who so savagely mount the classics, redigested for these latter days? Even better than last year's Hercules Insane (my favorite play of HF18), Klingon Tamburlaine achieves the seemingly impossible, again and again. The Ruby Theater stage is not large; how then did they portray vast space battles and epic sword combat on the plains of the Klingon homeworld. Hercules Insane is the best play I've seen at the Fringe so far this year. Absolutely riveting and so unlike anything else. This is what people called culture two thousand years before radio, and we have yet to equal....
