ENTERTAINMENT TODAY: “AVERITT portray’s Gail’s hollowness and desperate neediness with a vengeance and a hysteria that is spooky.”

LA WEEKLY: AVERITT’s spunky, energetic performance as the sex addict looking for Mr. Right is the clear highlight here. She’s a bundle of vitality…"

and in Madeline Dahm’s GARUNG:

DANCE INSIDER: “Zany, racous, tender, thoughtful, surreal…this group of fabulous women puts one in mind of Pina Bausch’s vivid characters, but they are their own women.”

VILLAGE VOICE: “A stunning company…”

and audience reviews of CREATURE/CREATIONS posted on LA TIMES.COM:

SUZAN AVERITT’s performance is superbly haunting.”

“…a tour de force performance by SUZAN AVERITT as the tormented ‘Creature.’”

SUZAN AVERITT’s interpretation is phenomenal. Her range of emotions with the piece takes you on emotional roller coaster that is very satisfying. Collaborative effort of these two (with director Abraham Celaya) is what theater is about.”
