I learned so many things from this show - what you get when you cross a cat with a dog, what not to teach children, the correlation between teapots and the mail, and most importantly, I learned a little something about myself. You can't do better than the words of Orwell... unless they're performed for you by as gifted a storyteller as Larry Cedar. I was captivated. What really struck me was the specificity of each and every moment - the creation of the Orwellian world and the various down and out characters that inhabit it. I encourage anyone who is a fan of literature - or really anyone who's a fan of life and art - to go and check this out....

Here are things I now know after seeing (no static at all.) I know what a Dan Stele is. I know that Elliott Smith was actually a Steven. And, most importantly, I know what type of band played at Alex Knox's bar mitzvah. Good theater, good larnin' and good music - that's (no static at all.) See it....
