This was the most brilliant piece of theatre I have seen in decades! It's what I imagined theatre was in ancient times: a ritual that literally transforms the audience. I'm glad I went to a late night show because it was like walking into a dream. Annabella's mythic presence was haunting. I loved how fluent she was in the language of dance and in the language of her own humanity. And the live music was haunting and exhilarating. ...
