Ayo does excellent character work. I enjoyed the unique way she told her story (at the airport) and how we traveled with her from destination to destination. Ayo is charming, comfortable on-stage, and so fun to watch. I loved the ending - I totally was NOT expecting it at all and I was so touched by her honesty ... full review

One of my favorite shows at fringe this year. What a perfect way to end my fringe viewing schedule! Absolutely beautiful, and very relevant to Millenials especially. Almost the whole audience were Milennials and there was something really powerful about that. I’ll be watching whatever these women continue to make because damn, that was good art. ... full review

This show was seriously so good! I had barely any idea what it was about so I wasn’t sure if it would be a comedy but it is hilarious! One of my favorite ensemble shows that I’ve seen this year. ... full review

WOW! What a treat! I am so so pleased that I got to witness this absolute joy. What a great way to end my Fringe schedule! I laughed, I cried, I felt my heart lurch, I loved this show and am so impressed by Lawrie and the cast’s talent. I wish Lawrie bowed on the stage because she deserves one hell of an applause for what she’s created.... full review

Absolutely fantastic. Deserves top of fringe, deserves every award. It’s one of the best things I’ve seen at Fringe. I am so pleased I got to witness this expert artistic piece on stage. Watch out world, Joy is only just beginning to show you what she’s got. I, for one, will stick around for the ride. ... full review

Absolutely stellar show. I would watch this again. Shanara knocks it out of the park the second she walks onto that stage. She is fierce, unabashed, brave. This show is important because it is about a woman reclaiming her time and space in a world that so often takes those from her. Thank you Shanara for gifting us with these stories.... full review

Ann-Marie does fantastic character work. She swiftly transitions into each character with a moment’s grace, never shying away from her inner “little kid”, as I like to put it... full review

At first I thought the show was going to be centered around the guy with the flannel around his waist. He’s purposefully a little obnoxious and interrupts his girlfriend, so you don’t know whether or not you should like him. But then, the girlfriend ends up sticking up for herself and you realize the play doesn’t center around them at all. In fact, it centers around the diner itself and how a central meeting place can bring so much life into one room. This is a story about a diner and how people ... full review

I keep delaying writing this review because I wanted to really sit down and think about what I was going to say before writing it. Well, I've thought about it now. April is one of those actors that I'm guessing gets underestimated. I can tell because I've seen it. It appears to me that stories on motherhood aren't as interesting as other stories. Which doesn't make sense to me, seeing as motherhood is literally what made all of us who we are today. There was a person out there that played some ... full review

Lisa is absolutely perfect for this role. She’s clever, quick, and has this subtle cheekiness that fits right in to this piece. I loved the set design and how the bright reds contrasted with the black box. It was very modern-looking and not like it was put together in 15 minutes (the usual load-in time for fringe shows). I felt like I was actually in the room with them, like we were flies on the wall. I like that. ... full review
