Thank you for your interest in the LGBT Center @ The Hollywood Fringe
.*We are currently establishing the level of our involvement in Fringe 2020; please feel free to apply but we will more than likely be hosting fewer shows this year than last, due to the scale of our Spring production and our self produced offering for Fringe.*
Since 1969 the LGBT Center has being providing services for the LBGT community in heath, social services, housing, culture and education and leadership and advocacy.
Every year the LGBT Center produces various live performances and exhibitions and in January 2017 the center proudly won five OVATIONAWARDS including the Best Season Ovation Award for its productions of Fool for Love, HAM: A Musical Memoir, and Hit the Wall.
The LGBT Center is a keen supporter of the Hollywood Fringe Festival and is currently renting the following venue:
The Davidson/Valentini Theater
Space: Traditional Black Box Theater
Seats: 40-44 comfortably.
Lighting and sound package included. ETC Element lighting console and QLab 4 setup. We have a projector, which may be upgraded by the time Fringe actually rolls around.
Dressing/Green rooms available for production use.
There are cubes and furniture backstage of the theater that may be used for productions. Please note that the LGBT center has limited storage space for rental productions and is not responsible for costumes or props left behind.
The venue is located at 1125 N McCadden Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90038. It has access to a courtyard, which is a great space for theatergoers to socialize before or in between shows.
Tech staff provided. Please email for rates and additional information.
